Social Media Photography
Utilizing photographic storytelling on social media is a great way to build both brand awareness and brand recognition (for more on those click here). By adding your logo to a prescribed set of photos that tell your brand story and engage your consumers you’re getting a chance to express and engage while simultaneously building your logos recognition.
Support What Matters
What is pulling on your customer’s heartstrings? More than likely, they are probably the same things that are pulling on yours. Let’s say you have a dog caller company. You have a dog company because, most likely, you love dogs. So, support fundraisers and nonprofits that help dogs. See if they’ll put your logo on their website and banners. You can share what you support and engage with your customers about our floofy friends.
Freebies
Good freebies though… no one cares about pens (OK some people care about pens) but truly great freebies that say something about your brand and you’re purpose are the golden goose we’re after. My favorite example I can use is a wakeboard coaching company from when I first started branding. Style and sunglasses are an important part of everyday life on a boat, I honestly can’t imply how crucial sunglasses are, and if they look good, even better. We tracked down a company that would put our logo on a variety of really cool shades and gave them out at competitions, docks, and training sessions. This told potential students that we knew what was relevant to them, we weren’t just a group of old skiers that are trying to stay involved, we were young, vibrant, and people you’d like to be stuck on a boat with for several hours.
